We would like to thank all those who contributed to the success of our @Unveiling the Mystery' Grand Open Day and worked so hard alongside us, we couldn't have done it without them all. We would also like to thank all the ladies and spectators who supported us by attending. Both Julia and I had a great day and I know Sarah enjoyed it too, although we were all on our knees by the end of it.
The feedback we have received from everyone so far shows that a great day was had by all and, if all 20 ladies who 'had a go' come into the sport that would be brilliant. Even if only half those take it up, it will be a real boost to shows etc. Not to mention the boost to St Luke's Hospice Funds, towards which you helped to raise the total sum of £250! Once again, a BIG thank you to all.

Grand Open Day
In aid of St Luke's Hospice, Winsford
to be held at
New House Farm, Hatton, Warrington
23 September 2007 - 12 Noon until 4 p.m.
Ever wanted to know how its done? Ever wanted to have a go? Ever wanted to take a closer look?
Well, now you can!
The day will commence with a presentation during which all aspects of the sport will be covered. We will explain how and why we ride this way and why it is considered safer to ride this way, and why the etiquette is so important
You will then see the ladies and horses perform one of their musical rides
After this there will be a 'Have a Go' session, with a qualified instructor
(spaces for this are limited so early booking is a must!)
Throughout the day memorabilia and the period costumes worn will be on display, together with all the equipment and saddles used in the sport
